Sizing
Ring sizes and chain lengths can be adjusted to suit you. When placing your order please advise us of your ring size or desired chain length and we will make any necessary adjustments. If you are buying jewellery as a gift and are not sure of sizing please feel free to get in touch for advice. There is no charge for adjusting ring sizes and chain lengths on the first occasion.
Delivery
If your item is in stock it will be sent as soon as any requested adjustments to sizing or fit have been made. For made to order items please allow 6 weeks for the making process prior to shipping. Your jewellery will be packaged in our signature McCaul Goldsmiths jewellery boxes. All items are fully insured whilst in transit and are sent using a tracked and signed for service.

All taxes and duties are included for those ordering from the EU and UK.
Worldwide
Taxes and duties are not included when ordering from outside of the EU & UK. Customers are responsible for any duties and taxes according to their jurisdiction. Drop us a line at info@mccaul.com for more information on taxes and duties & we’ll do our best to answer any questions you may have.
Materials
All McCaul Goldsmiths’ jewellery is made from 18-carat yellow gold, white gold, rose gold or platinum. Our diamonds and gemstones are sourced from trusted suppliers in the UK and Europe and are conflict-free. If you see a design you like in our collection but would like it in a different combination of metal and gemstone we can make it to order and can also source diamonds and gemstones for you. Some of our designs are one-of-a-kind and are made with unique or unusual gemstones. Although we may not be able to repeat these, we can work with you to create a bespoke piece of jewellery based on the design. Visit our bespoke page to read more about the process.

Whether you are looking for a unique engagement or wedding ring, a one-of-a-kind cocktail ring or simply a variation on one of the designs from our collection we can bring your vision to life. The bespoke process usually starts with an initial chat in-store, over the phone or by email where we will discuss any ideas you have and offer some suggestions...
How much will my bespoke piece cost?
Once you purchase your diamond we will discuss your ideal design and provide you with a quote for the designing and making of your piece. Find our pricing guide below, final quotes will depend on your choice of precious metal and design.
Guide pricing with prices starting from:
- >0.99ct: £1,650+
- 1.00ct - 1.49ct: £2,100+
- 1.50ct-1.99ct: £2,475+
- 2.00ct + : £2,750+
REFINING THE DESIGN
The next step is to refine the ideas into a series of designs for you to choose from. To do this we will share some images and videos from our design catalogue and, depending on the design, we may also provide sketches or make models in wax or metal.
You will be closely involved throughout this process and the designs may evolve through several iterations before the final design is reached. If you are based outside of London or Dublin we will email sketches and photographs to guide you through the design process. We work with clients around the world in this way.
Once the design has been agreed we will take a non-refundable deposit of 50% before making begins.
Commission complete
When your custom-made piece of jewellery is ready and the balance has been paid the commission is complete. You are welcome to collect your jewellery in person from our London store or our Dublin Atelier or we can arrange delivery anywhere in the world.
We recommend having your jewellery cleaned and gemstones checked annually and offer this service free to our clients.
