Forged white gold, emerald and diamond earrings

This one-of-a-kind, hand-forged pair of white gold drop earrings is one of our latest commissions. Our customer had seen some of the forged earrings in our collection and wanted to have a pair of drop earrings made for herself in our signature style. Her only requirements were that they had movement and were of a certain length. David worked with her to develop the designs, sketching several options before deciding on the final design.





The delicately tapered earrings were made by hammer forging 18 carat white gold bar to narrow it into fine flicks of metal. The forged pieces were then soldered together and finished to a high polish.



Each earring is set with a marquise diamond and two marquise emerald stones, which were taken from a ring that our customer no longer wore. The finished earrings are shown below next to the vintage six-stone ring which the stones were taken from.
